Sunset Winery has become known for its warm welcome, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Nestled amongst 14 hectares of native bushland and boasting 180 degree sea views, it's the ideal location to relax on the all weather deck and sample the 7 premium wines on offer, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvardi, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Shiraz/Cabernet/Merlot and the exquisite Sparkling Shiraz.
Local produce features in the light lunch and savoury platters, including a selection of Kangaroo Island boutique cheeses, local olives, homemade dip and more...or sample the dukkah platter featuring locally baked Turkish bread, local wild olive oil and delicious dukkah. Plunger coffee and tea are also available and served with homemade gluten free muffins.
Sunset Winery is the inaugural winner of the 2009 Ultimate Kangaroo Island Producers Food or Wine Experience award as judged by its customers. (Criteria was judged on service and local produce used in the menu).
